Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Carlsbad Caverns National Park is in the foothills of the Guadalupe Mountains. It has 117 known caves. The most famous is Carlsbad Caverns, one of the world's largest caves.

The natural entrance is ninty feet wide and forty feet high. The cavern has more than thirty miles of surveyed passageways.

The big room covers eight acres and has a 255-foot ceiling.
